Mineville — Peter P. Kordziel, 73, of Harmony Lane in Mineville died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2003, at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vt.
He was born Nov. 23, 1929, in Witherbee, N.Y., the son of Peter Cosmos and Mary Ann (Lesniak) Kordziel.
He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and member of the Mineville VFW Post 5802.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Essex County Leathernecks of Northeastern New York.
He is predeceased by his wife, Jane Kordziel on Oct. 24, 1996, and his son, Thomas on April 24,1986.
Arrangements by the Harland Funeral Home in Port Henry.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at Church of All Saints in Mineville.
Spring burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Moriah.
