Kenneth Jackson was born April 4, 1954 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Manzie Jackson and Rosa V. (Murray) Jackson, and resided in East Orange, NJ.

After high school he served in the United States Army and US Army Reserve where he earned the National Defense Medal, and became a M-16 expert.

He was employed as a Cook for Popeye's Restaurant for several years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Manzie and Rosa Jackson; a sister, Deloris Wiggins; and a brother, Robert Simmons.

He leaves to cherish fond memories his daughters, Latoya Hyland, Shennell Jackson and Demikia Jackson; his sons, Chapelle Hyland and Kenneth Jackson; sisters, Deborah James, Gail Lawson, Cornelia (George) Roseburgh, and Carol; 20 grandchildren; 2 great grands; devoted friend, Paulette Harding;sister-in-law, Deborah Murray and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends and neighbors.
