This lady apparently had a full and unfortunate life. She was born in South Carolina and moved to Mississippi with her parents and brothers. Her father Charles Lynch became Governor of the State of Mississippi from 1836-1838 but she had a tough life as a wife and mother. It appears, by piecing together information from her Mississippi family's grave markers, this was her life:
- At an unknown date she married Wm. Clinton Cage and they had two children: 1) Charles Lynch Cage who lived from 1831-1853 and 2) Minerva T. Cage who lived from 1832-1856. William Cage died in 1832.
- She then married a man with the last name of Land (his first name is not known) and they had a son named Thomas who only lived from 1839-40. Mr. Land died in 1843.
- She then married Dr. William Anderson Ware and they had several children:
1) William Lynch Ware who was born in 1843 and died in 1876
2) Ella who was born 1845 and died in 1847
3) James S. Ware who was born in 1846 and died in 1847
4) Sedley Lynch Ware who was born in 1848 and died in 1866 and
5) Margaret Lynch Ware who was born in 1850 and died in 1853.
All of her children were buried in Greenwood Cemetery in Jackson, MS where Governor Lynch's monument lists them.
