Mr. Kemp, a lifetime resident of the New Berlin community died Monday of a heart ailment. His parents, Capt. and Mrs. David Kemp, settled in the New Berlin area following the Civil War.
Mr. Kemp was a retired light attendant for the U. S. Coast Guard, and a member of Our Merciful Saviour Episcopal Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ethel F. Kemp, a daughter, Mrs. J. R. Newsome of New Berlin; two sons, N. B. Kemp Jr. and William David Kemp both of Jacksonville; four sisters, Mrs. C. D. Jenkins and Mrs. R. A. Carlton, both of Jacksonville, and Mr. J. A. Ward and Mrs. C. D. Thames, both of Tampa; and five grandchildren.
