Mildred M Gebhart, age 80, of W2988 Harlow Rd., Chilton, died on Sunday, May 12, 2002 at the Appleton Medical Center. She was born on March 10, 1922 in the Town of Chilton, a daughter of the late August and Rose (Greuel) Geiser. She married Claude Gebhart on June 4, 1946 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton. Mildred farmed all of her life with her husband in the Town of Chilton. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton, the Christian Mothers, the Chilton Eagles No. 1288, the V.F.W. Auxiliary, and the Catholic Knights. Being outdoors on the farm was always part of her life. She enjoyed her flowers, gardening, and the big family gatherings for special occasions. Mildred was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and she will be deeply missed by her family.
Survivors include her husband Claude; six children, Rosemary (Fred) Popp of Hilbert, Eileen (Mark) Buelke of Chilton, Virginia (Dave) Behrend of Green Bay, Leonard Gebhart of Menasha, Marjorie (Jim) Hughes of Chaska, Minn., Norbert (Janet) Gebhart of O Chilton; 22 grandchildren, two great-granddaughters; a sister, · Bernadine (Robert) Pero of • Hilliard, Ohio; two brothers, Clarence (Martha) Geiser of Chilton, Richard (Jo Ann) Geiser of Belgium; and a sister-in-law, Lorraine Geiser of Chilton. She was preceded in death by a sister, Leonella Keuler, and a brother, Werner Geiser. Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, May 17, 2002 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton, with the Rev. Gary ga New, S.D.S., officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home, 411 W. Main St. in Chilton from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thurs- day, and again on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. when family prayers will be held. A parish prayer service will be To held at 6 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home, followed by 50m an Eagles Club prayer service at 6:30 p.m., a VFW Auxiliary prayer service at 7 p.m. and a Catholic Knights Rosary at 7:30 p.m. The Sheboygan Press May 14, 2002
