Anton Kliment, 93, a lifelong resident of the Town of Kossuth, died Monday morning at Fairhills Home, Rosecrans, Manitowoc County, where he had been a patient three weeks. He died after a brief illness. Mr. Kliment was born March 4, 1867 in the Town of Kossuth, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kliment. He married Katherine Ourada in November, 1889, and they farmed in the Town of Kossuth until 1921 when they retired and moved to a nearby house. They observed their 60th wedding anniversary in 1949. She preceded him in death May 28, 1954. Also preceding him in death were two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Oswald and Mrs. Matt Kubsch, and three brothers.
He was an honorary member of ZCBJ Lodge No. 99 of Polifka Corners, Manitowoc County, and he also was a musician with the Kossuth Brass Band.
