Funeral services for Mrs. Matt Kubsch, 67, of Kellnersville, who died Wednesday at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, will be at 9:15 a.m. Monday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in the village. The Rev. Francis Wenda will officiate and burial will be in Kossuth Bohemian National Cemetery.
A sister, Mrs. Joseph Oswald, preceded Mrs. Kubsch in death in 1950.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday where the Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Saturday and at 8 p.m. Sunday.

Mrs. Matt Kubsch Succumbs at 67

Mrs. Matt Kubsch, 67, Kellnersville, died Wednesday evening in Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc. She was a patient there for six days and had been in poor health for two months. She was the owner and operator of Kubsch Tavern, dance hall and eating establishment at Kellnersville.

Mrs. Kubsch was born Mary Kliment in the Town of Kossuth, March 22, 1890, daughter of Anton and the late Katherine Ourada Kliment. She married Matt Kubsch Nov. 16, 1909. They operated the Kliment family farm until 1939 when they purchased the tavern business which was sold recently. Mr. Kubsch died Dec. 21, 1956.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ted Zigmunt, Kellnersville; four sons, Erwin, Casper, Wyoming; Reinhard, Kewaunee; Norman, Kellnersville and Orville, on the home farm; her father, Anton Sr., Francis Creek; a sister, Mrs. Reinhart Herrmann, Route 1, Whitelaw; a brother, Anton Jr., Francis Creek and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Monday evening at St. Joseph Catholic church with the Rev. Francis Wenda officiating. Burial was in the Kossuth National Cemetery.
