Mrs. Ada Chase, colored, widow of the late John W. Chase, died Saturday, December 5, 1942 at her home at 18 Union street, Westminster. She was the daughter of the late Jerry and Irona Warfield Cross and was aged 71 years. She leaves five children as follows: Mrs. Marie Morgan, Mrs. Agnes Brightwell, Roosevelt Chase, and Mrs. Inez Charms, all of Westminster, and Elizabeth, at home; also 14 grandchildren.
Burial was in Western Chapel Cemetery.
