John W. Bennett, aged 59 years, a blacksmith in Winamac, fell down stairs and broke his neck. His wife was visiting in Tipton county and Mr. Bennett was staying alone. The neighbors missed him and Friday evening they forced the door and found him at the foot of the stairway. They think he had been dead since Tuesday. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon.
