Obituaries.
Anna Asbury was born on the 15th day of January, 1871, and died at El Dorado, January 30th, 1919 at the age of 48 years and 15 days.
Mrs. Asbury was the wife of U.S. Asbury, whose parents live just south of Winfield and are well known citizens of Cowley County. Mr. and Mrs. Asbury were residents of El Dorado at the time of her death, but the body was brought to Winfield for burial. The funeral services were conducted at the Kyger funeral rooms Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock by P.H. Guy of the Christian church. Interment was made in Highland Park cemetery. Mrs. Asbury was a kind and loving wife and mother, and a devoted and considerate friend. She leaves a husband, four sons and one daughter, and many friends to mourn. The Husband and children have the sympathy of the entire community.
