Robert Harvey Andrews was born in April 1895 in Tennessee, the son of Harvey Robert Andrews (1853-1924) and Emma (Dodds) Andrews (1859-1942).
Working for the railroad and living with his sister Mrs J H McMahon at 511 South 12th Street in Nashville, he was 29 years old, single and at home in the yard when he shot and killed himself on October 3, 1924.
Survivors included his mother Emma, brother Melvin V Andrews and sisters Mrs McMahon, Mrs Ben Overton, Mrs Herman Reding and Miss Alice Grace Andrews, all of Nashville.
Funeral Services were held on October 5th at the Andrews home, and burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery, Nashville.
