In Vergennes, Jan. 21, 1879, Mr. ELIJAH BEDFORD, aged 87 years. Mr. Bedford was a resident of Keene fourteen years and was, we are informed, the oldest man in that township. Last November he was taken to the residence of his son-in-law in Vergennes where he remained until he died."
Buried in Alton Cemetery, Lowell, MI, beside Martin Richmond. Was a carpenter.
