Mrs. Vallie Andrews, age 89, passed away Monday, November 3, 2014, in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. She was a native of Mexia, AL. and a resident of Atmore, AL for sixty years. She retired from the City of Atmore Utility Department and organized singings once a month at the Atmore Senior Site. She was member of the Brooks Memorial Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of forty years, Melree Andrews, Sr.
Mrs. Andrews is survived by her two sons, Melree (Pandora) Andrews, Jr. of Atmore and Joe (Jackie) Andrews of Crestview, FL.; one daughter, Donna Kay (Benny) Thompson of Ft. Walton Beach; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Mr. Dave Taylor officiating.
Burial will follow at the Serenity Gardens
Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 5, 2014 from 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m.. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Deacons from Brooks Memorial Baptist Church.
