FORT WALTON BEACH, FLa.- Eula Ferrell Flora of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2014, after several years of declining health.
The funeral will be Friday, Nov. 7, at 11 a.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Wade Bryant and Joyce West officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens, Roanoke.
Mrs. Flora loved her family and often sent them special handwritten notes and letters. A nurse by trade, she always loved helping other people. She enjoyed attending church services, time with family, and thrift store shopping when she was able.
Mrs. Flora is survived by her sons, Michael and Tim Flora of Fort Walton Beach; her daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Ricky Ellis of Farmville, N.C.; four grandchildren.; one great-grandson.; one brother, Jasper Ferrell; and one sister, Joyce West. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudy and Nassie Ferrell; brothers Casper, Joe and Olin Ferrell; and her husband of 55 years, Howard Flora.
