Clarence “Bud” Edgar Harris, 77, of Spencer, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. He was born on May 13, 1937 in Spencer to Clarence and Clara (Frazier) Harris. He worked as a car mechanic and for Rostone. Bud was a member of the Spencer First Church of the Nazarene. He loved working on cars.

Mr. Harris is survived by his wife, Clara (Pursell) Harris; two sons, Buddy Harris of Spencer and Brad Harris of Bloomington; a brother, Bob Harris of Spencer; and two sisters, Betty Greene and Evelyn Coffman, both of Spencer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Lee, Georgie, and Lester Harris; and a sister, Margie Neva Kelly.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, November 7, 2014 at Chambersville Cemetery. Pastor Bill Pursell will officiate. Friends may call from 12-1 p.m. on Friday at the cemetery.
