Evelyn Coffman, age 75, of Spencer, passed away peacefully at on Thursday, January 3, 2019, at Owen Valley Health Campus. She was born on May 26, 1943, the daughter of the late Clarence E. Harris & Clara E. (Frazier) Harris.
She was a 1961 graduate of Spencer High School. She was a lifetime member of the Spencer Nazarene Church and a member of the Red Hat Lady Society.
Evelyn worked in the daycare at the church in her free time as well as enjoying arts and crafts. She use to sew dresses for her girls when they were younger.
She is survived by her loving children, Cindy (Steve) Smith of Spencer, Melissa "Missy" (Kelly) Coffman-Mills of Worthington and Stella (John) Couch of Huntsville, AL; son-in-law, John Culler of Bloomington; grandchildren, Stephen Smith, Nikkie (Jeremy Gauldin) Culler, Jessica (Dan) Beecher, Samantha (Jason) Levesque, Katie Culler, Virginia Culler, Kevin (Lacey) Coffman, Keith Haynes, Megan Sparrow, Ashley (Jonathan) Graves and Ricky Couch; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Bob Harris of Spencer and sister, Betty Greene of Spencer.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Coffman; infant son, Ricky Eugene Coffman; daughter, Teresa Lynn (Coffman) Culler and granddaughter, Katherine Michelle Culler.
Funeral service will be held at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, with Rev. Paul Shear officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer.
