Florence, a bookkeeper, worked at Sears, LNAS and The Salvation Army. She retired from her position at The Salvation Army in 2006. She loved her family very much and was always ready to lend a helping hand. She was an avid reader, enjoyed working with her plants, and taking care of her pets.
She is preceded in death by her parents Oscar & Eva Sparks, infant daughter Beverly Sue, sister Sylvia (Kirklin) Moore, brothers Melvin and Hubert Sparks and infant grandson Troy Lee Devine. She is survived by her son Lindon Curtis Devine of Hanford, son Russell Allen Devine and wife Elaine of Hanford, brother Lindon Sparks and wife Linda of Linwood, niece Helen Haley and husband George of Armona, nephew Richard Freeman and wife Georgia of Hanford, niece Debbi Rayburn of Anchorage, 6 grandchildren 17 great-grandchildren 3 great-great-grandchildren and special friends William & Velma Chartrand of Hanford.

Visitation will be at People’s Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, from 5-7 pm. with a Graveside Service on Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at Grangeville Cemetery.
