Emile Dumas, of 381 Main St., South Glastonbury, died Friday at home. Born in Salem, Mass., he lived in South Glastonbury many years here he owned and operated his own bakery, retiring in 1954.
He was a member of the Retreads, Glastonbury.
He leave his wife, Jrs. Jeanette Taylr Dumas of South Glastonbury; two step-daughters, Mrs. Shirley Gallup of South Glastonbury and Mrs. Grace Prete of Tallahassee, Fla., and a brother, Euclid Dumas of Long Island, N.Y.
The funeral will be Monday at 12:30 p.m. in the Congregational Church of South Glastonbury with the Rev. Michael B. Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Still Hill Cemetery, South Glastonbury. Calling ours are Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Glastonbury Funeral Home, 450 New London Turnpike, Glastonbury.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Glastonbury Auxiliary Police Ambulance Association.
