Othmyr “Ott” Crawford

Othmyr “Ott’ Crawford, age 99 years. One of Bedford’s oldest residents who lived at 310 Seventeenth street, Bedford, Lawrence County, Indiana. Mr. Crawford died at 7:50 a.m. This morning March 27, 1968 at Dunn Memorial Hospital, Bedford. He had been ill two weeks.

He was born October 18, 1868 in Pinhook, Lawrence county, Indiana. To Issac Crawford and Elizabeth McKeaigg Crawford.

A retired farmer, Mr. Crawford was first married on November 4, 1896 to Cora B. Myers Clark, deceased. He later married Della M. Root on March 28, 1923, who died March 1959.

Survivors include one brother, Otis E. Crawford, Route 6 and one sister, Mrs Addie Brown, Route 5 both of Bedford, Indiana. A step daughter, Mrs. Harvey (Ruth) Clark Crawford, Route 3, Mitchell, Indiana and several nieces and nephews. One sister and one brother preceded him in death.

Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home with William Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Pinhook Cemetery, Pinhook, Lawrence County, Indiana.

Friends may call after 7:00 p.m., Tuesday at the Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home.
