Mrs. Mildred D. Royals, age 92 of Zebulon, was called to her heavenly home, November 8, 2014.

Mrs. Royals was born in Griffin, Georgia on September 19, 1922. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jeff and Alma White Dorsey; her husband, Henry Leonard Royals; sisters, Geraldine Harris and Betty Whitfield. She had worked for many years at Fred’s Foot Long, Baltimore Café and Wright’s Ice Cream Parlor. She loved growing plants, especially flowers, loved animals and travel. She was a member of North Griffin Congregational Holiness Church.

Survivors include son, Tonnie Royals and special friend, Patricia Akers; son Randy Royals and his wife, Gayle; daughter, Pamela Royals; son, Kenneth Royals; grandchildren, Scotty Royals, Glenda Williams, Robin Royals, Dana Hasnian, Cynthia Royals, Karl Royals, Kelley and Mike Pollard, Rosalyn Royals; 17 great grandchildren; 11 great great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mrs. Mildred D. Royals will be on Monday, November 10, 2014 from 2:30pm until 4:00pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be conducted in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Reverend Jerry Brooks and Reverend Charles Killingsworth will officiate.
