Mr. Wesley Shaw, 69, of Coffeeville, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford.

He was born May 17, 1945 in Coffeeville to the late Clyde and Estelle Walton Shaw. He was retired from Yalobusha County District 1 and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.

A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery in Yalobusha County with the Rev. Truman Scarborough officiating. Family and friends will gather after 1:00 PM at the cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Elsie Parker Shaw of Coffeeville; two sons, Phillip Wesley Shaw of Coffeeville and Jonathan Parker Shaw of Pearl; one daughter, Susan Oakes Sutton of Coffeeville; three brothers, Edwin Shaw, Eugene Shaw and Malcolm Shaw all of Coffeeville; one sister, Mildred Respess of Lambert; three grandchildren, Laurie Elizabeth Tharpe, Joshua Craig Tharpe and Dylan Joe Sutton; and two great-grandchildren, Lucas Kale Tharpe and Landon Kole Tharpe.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Gillespie and Jerry Shaw and a grandson, Devin Lee Kennedy.

Pallbearers will be Smiley Arrington, Jerry Beckwith, Charles Liles, Ray Schmitz, Christopher Shaw and Hunter Shaw.
