CLYDE SHAW

Clyde Eugene Shaw passed away peacefully at his home in Coffeeville, Miss. on February 5, 2016 at the age of 81. He is survived by his siblings
Mildred Respess, Lambert, Miss., and Malcolm Shaw, Coffeeville, Miss., as well as a host of adoring nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Jeri (Bishop) and siblings Edwin, Gillespie, Jerry, Wesley and Judy.

He was born December 26, 1934 in Yalobusha County, Miss. He graduated from Coffeeville High School, and after serving in the army (stationed in Alaska) he entered and graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in agriculture. A short initial forayinto agricultural chemical sales evolved into his true calling of being a farmer. He and Jeri made the perfect team as they farmed traditional row crops, as well as hogs and cattle for five decades in Yalobusha County, Miss.

He will be remembered as the benchmark for "doing the right thing" by all who were fortunate enough to know and love him in this, our short time on earth.

A graveside service will be held at Pilgram's Rest Cemetery in Yalobusha County, Miss., February 13 at 2 p.m.
