Jessie Brown, 73, 10256 Kaser Road, died Saturday at 11:15 a.m. at Wilson Memorial Hospital. He had been in failing health two years.
He was born March 1, 1914, in Scalf, Ky., son of George and Pearl (Smith) Brown.
His wife, the former Martha Bingham, died July 21, 1974.
Survivors include seven sons, J.B. Brown of Sidney, W.G. Brown, Johnny, Jimmy, Billie, and Donald, all of Piqua, and Shelby of Florida; two daughters, Jessolene Myers of Sidney, and Donnoline Spees of Colorado; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ford and Stacey, both of Kentucky, three sisters, Fanny Baker of Kentucky, Virgie Stewart and Virginia Eves, both of Michigan.
Two brothers and two sisters are deceased.
Mr. Brown retired in 1969 from the Copeland Corp.
Services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Cromes Funeral Home with the Rev. Leamon Branscum officiating. Burial will be in the Beechwood Cemetery, Lockington.
Friends may call at the funeral home today from 4 to 8 p.m.
