Mrs. Martha Brown, 57, R. R. 1, died Sunday at 12:10 a.m. at Piqua Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient nine days.
She was born June 24, 1917, in Scalf, Ky., daughter of Will and Sarah Bingham. In 1945 she was married to Jessie Brown who survives. They moved to Lockington in 1947.
Other survivors include seven sons, Shelby and J. B. Brown, both of Sidney, W. G. Brown, Piqua, Johnny Mack, Jimmie Lee, Donald Ray, and Billy Wayne, all at home, two daughters, Miss Jessolene Brown of Sidney and Miss Donnalene Brown, Piqua; four grandchildren; a brother, Charles Bingham, Lockington; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Cooper and Mrs. Disa Brown, both of Scalf, Ky., Mrs. Phemie Smith, R.J., Ky., and Ada of Kentucky.
A son preceded her in death.
Mrs. Brown was employed 19 years at the Copeland Corp., Sidney.
Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Cron Funeral Home, Piqua, with the Rev. Arnold Martin officiating. Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery, Lockington.
Friends may call at the funeral home today from 6 to 9 p.m.
