Wanda (Allen) Henderson of Sevierville, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014. Wanda was born October 1, 1924. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Sevierville, where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She had worked at Wade's Department Store, the office of Dr. McQueen and was retired from the Sevier County School System. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sidon and Leona (Haynes) Allen; in-laws, Ray and Rebecca Henderson; son-in-law, Sam Rolen; brother, Lillard Allen; brothers-in-law, Bill Dixon and Carl Hatcher; sister-in-law, Helen Allen; and nephew, Gale Allen. Wanda is survived by her husband of 66 years, Ray C. Henderson; daughter, Linda Rolen; granddaughter, Latonya (Mark) Williamson; great-grandsons, Zachery Williamson and Parker Williamson; sister, Lucille Hatcher; several special nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 5-6 PM Friday with funeral service to follow at 6 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Rev. Jerry Hyder and Rev. Curtis Wells officiating. Family and friends will meet 2 PM Sunday in Shiloh Cemetery for interment. Arrangements by Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
