She was a member of First Baptist Church, Sevierville where she was active in several ministries including Helping Hands, Cradle Roll, Vacation Bible School, and The Heaven Bound Singers. She and her husband Carl loved to travel, throughout the country and the world. She enjoyed reading, shopping and being a "Mamaw". She also worked along side her husband in the family business, Carl Hatcher Furniture until their retirement in 1992.
Mrs. Hatcher was preceded in death by her first husband, Bill Dixon, and second husband of 53 years, Carl Houston Hatcher, parents, Sidon Paul and Leona Allen, brother and sister-in-law, Lillard and Helen Allen, sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Ray C. Henderson, and nephew, Gale Allen.
Survivors:
Daughter and Son-in-law: Becky and Marty Duncan;
Grandchildren: Justin Duncan and wife Jennifer, Taylor Merritt and husband Brandon, and Sydney Duncan;
Great Grandchildren: Braxton Merritt, Kennedy Merritt, Blakely Duncan, and Aubrey Duncan;
Nieces: Linda Rolen, Brenda Hembree, and Barbara Roberts;
Nephew: Larry Allen;
Several other nieces and nephews.
