Mitchell, age 55, of Trenton Ohio, a Vietnam Veteran died at his home.
With flags flying proudly The Patriot Guard Riders honored Spec Meyers leading him to his final resting place. He enjoyed a life long love of motorcycles and had been a motorcycle mechanic, ridden avidly, and even campaigned a drag bike for a time.
He was born the son of Bill and Dorothy A. Myers. Mitchell was an Army and Navy veteran of Vietnam and was employed as a mechanic in motorcycle repair. He was an avid motorcycle drag racer, enjoyed repairing motorcycles and fishing, and was a member of Amvets in Fairfield. On Thanksgiving Day, 1969, in Hamilton he married Peggy Jean Lewis.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Myers of Eaton; one son, Billy Myers and his wife Joslyn of Ft. Louis, Washington; two daughters, Sherry Myers of Oxford and Tamika Hale and her husband James of Eaton; ten grandchildren; his mother, Dorothy Glenn of Hamilton; and three brothers, Jeff Myers, Stanley Myers and his wife LaVerne, and James Myers, all of Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Gregory Myers.
