ROSE, Tammy S. Age 46 of Hamilton passed away Thursday March 30, 2006 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. She was born June 9, 1959 in Hamilton the daughter of James W. and Sue (nee Archer) Rose. She was a 1977 graduate of Talawanda High School and attended Cobblestone Community Church in Oxford. Tammy worked for 13 years as manager of the Clark Gasoline Station on Dixie Highway in Hamilton until her career and life were cut short on February 11, 1987, the day she was shot in the head during a robbery at her work. Tammy was a very lovable and loving person who is survived by her father, James W. (Marjorie) Rose; her mother, Sue (John) Graft; son, Ryan Rose; grandson, Cylus Rose, all of Hamilton; one brother, James W. Jr. (Crissy) Rose of Hamilton; three sisters, Jamie Peters of Fairfield, and Crystal Graft and Heather Baker, both of Hamilton. Tammy is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Albert and Ada Rose, Andrew and Anna Mae Archer, Albert and Louise Schofield, and Walter and Alberta Graft. Visitation Monday, April 3, 2006 at The Webster Funeral Home, 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 12 Noon until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM. Burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to the Salvation Army gymnasium on Ludlow Street for food and fellowship after the burial service. Owing to the fact that Tammy was a victim of a violent robbery and assault, memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Ohio Victims of Violent Crimes Fund 150 E. Gay Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
