John E. Hruby, 82, of 13725 Wilmas Rd., Newton, Wisconsin, died Sunday, September 30, 1990 at his residence. Memorial Mass will be held 10:30 am Friday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill. Father Richard Klingeisen will officiate with cremation having taken place and burial at Calvary Cemetery.

He was born July 1, 1908 at Manitowoc, son of the late John and Anna Kozina Hruby. He was a Construction Worker and a Mason all his life. He married Frances Konopacki June 14, 1934 in Manitowoc. He was an avid hunter and was an excellent duck carver.

Survivors include his wife of Newton; two sons and a daughter-in-law, John Hruby of Seattle, Washington, Craig and Pat Hruby of Newton; five daughters and three sons-in-law, Pat Gottsacker of Grafton, Wisconsin, Mary and Glenn Komoroski of Manitowoc, Miss Karen Hruby of Laguna Hills, California, Margaret and Dennis Jerabek of Athelstane, Wisconsin, Ann and Sam Vallone of Pewaukee, Wisconsin; 20 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; a brother, Joseph Hruby of Manitowoc; a sister, Adeline Demler of Manitowoc; other relatives and friends.

Friends may greet the family from 9:30 am Friday until the time of services at the church. There will be no Thursday evening visitation at the Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Holy Family Hospice.

Jens Funeral Home and Crematory are assisting the family with funeral services.
