Mrs. Charles Samuelson
Chesterton - Services for Mrs. Charles W. (Freda W.) Samuelson, 74, 127 Westchester avenue, who died at 4:40 am Monday at Evergreen Park Nursing Home home, will be hel at 2:30 pm Wednesday at white Funeral Home.
Dr. William Hughes, Chesterton Methodist chuch, will officiate with burial in the McCool Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home today. Eastern Star rites will be conducted at 7 pm today.
A life-long resident of Porter County, Mrs. Samuelson was born in Crisman, Mar 27, 1892, the daughter of Swan and Edla Swanson. On July 31, 1915 in Valparaiso, she was married to Charles W. Samuelson, who preceded her in death in 1961.
Mrs. Samuelson was a member and past worthy matron of Chesterton chapter 274, Order of Eastern Star. She was also a member of McCool Methodist church.
Mrs. Samuelson's husband operated a plumbing business in the McCool area for several years.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Marjorie L. Dale, Chesterton, one brother, Elmer Swanson, Chicago; one grand=daughter, Mrs. Marijo Driggs, Fowler, Ind., and one great-grandson, Dale Driggs, also of Fowler.
