Edward S. Jagemann, age 100, of 2021 S. Alverno Road, Manitowoc, died Sunday, September 23, 2012, at Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Edward was born on November 12, 1911, in Manitowoc, son of the late George and Elizabeth (Schaefer) Jagemann. On July 3, 1941, he married the former Catherine Everand at St. Paul Catholic Church in Manitowoc. She preceded him in death on July 30, 2003. Ed was a superintendent at Jagemann Plating for many years until his retirement. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish and a past member of the Manitowoc Elks Lodge #687.
Survivors include one daughter: Suzanne Jagemann and her special friend Gary Erickson, Manitowoc; one son and daughter-in-law: Charles (Sue) Jagemann, Wauwatosa; four grandchildren: Christine (Kevin) Power, Phoenix, AZ; Jeffrey Jagemann, Milwaukee; Jonathan Jagemann and his fiance Lauren Jagiel, Milwaukee; Joshua Jagemann, Milwaukee. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his wife: Catherine Jagemann; six brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 28, 2012, at Calvary Chapel Mausoleum, 2601 South 14th Street, Manitowoc. Rev. Richard Klingeisen will officiate with entombment to follow at Calvary Mausoleum.
The Jens Family Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the Jagemann family.
