Catherine M. Jagemann, age 89, of 1529 S. 24th St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Wednesday, July 30, 2003 at her residence.

Private funeral services were held on Friday, Aug. 1, 2003 at the Calvary Chapel Mausoleum, Manitowoc. Deacon Robert Drobka officiated with entombment at Calvary Mausoleum.

Catherine was born Sept. 16, 1913 in Iron Mountain, Mich., daughter of the late Nicholas and Margaret Basting Everard. The family moved to Manitowoc when Catherine was a young child. On July 3, 1941, Catherine was married to Edward S. Jagemann at St. Paul Catholic Church in Manitowoc. Catherine was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church and was an active volunteer with the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Manitowoc.

Survivors include her husband: Edward of Manitowoc; one son and daughter-in-law: Charles and Sue Jagemann of Milwaukee; one daughter: Suzanne Jagemann of Phoenix, Ariz.; four grandchildren: Christine (Kevin) Power of Phoenix, Ariz.; Jeffrey, Jonathan and Joshua Jagemann, all of Milwaukee; one sister-in-law: Elaine Everard of Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.

The Jens Family Funeral Home and Crematory of Manitowoc is serving the Jagemann family.
