Louise M. Janda, 3, formerly of 14 Ahrens St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday evening,
October 9, 1990 at Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 11:30 am
Thursday at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Presiding the Mass of
Christian Burial will be Rev. Leo Schmitt with burial to follow in the Evergreen
Cemetery.
She was born July 14, 1917 in Iron Mountain, Michigan, daughter of the late
Nicholas and Margaret Basting Everard Sr. She married Earl (Duke) Janda, June 15,
1940 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. She was a graduate of Manitowoc
Lincoln High School.
Survivors include her husband, Earl (Duke) Janda of Manitowoc; two sons and
daughters-in-law, John and Rita Janda of Manitowoc, Robert and Raquel Janda of
Tallahassee, Florida; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Octavia and Merlin Brose
of Manitowoc. Catherine and Edward Jagemann of Manitowoc; two brothers and three
sisters-in-law, John and Marion Everard of Arvada, Colorado, Nicholas Jr. and
Elaine Everard of Manitowoc, Mrs. Ruth Everard of El Paso, Texas; a grandson,
Andy Janda. She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Everard and a sister,
Erma Zimmer.
Friends may call at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, 10:30 am until the time of
services on Thursday. Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, assisted the family with
funeral arrangements.
