Helen E. Mleziva, age 85, of 2722 S. 23rd St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday evening, May 24, 2005, at Aurora BayCare Medical Center, Green Bay.
Helen was born Nov. 2, 1919 at Kellnersville, daughter of the late Frank and Cecelia (Cigler) Chizek. She grew up and was educated at Kellnersville.
She married Rudolph Mleziva on Oct. 2, 1941 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville. They celebrated 63 years together. Helen is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Rosary Society. Helen enjoyed sewing, baking, playing cards with her many friends, making liver sausage with her neighbors and many years of dancing.

In addition to her parents, Helen is preceded in death by a daughter: Pauline J. Schultz; two brothers: Louis Chizek and Joe Chizek; a sister andbrother-in-law: Dr. Kathryn (Irv) Bemmann; brothers-in-law and a sisters-in-law:
Adolph and Olive Mleziva; Louis and Lillian Mleziva; and Victor Schenian.
Funeral services will be held at 1:45 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2005, at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Kellnersville, and at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville. Monsignor Robert Gulig will celebrate
the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Kellnersville, on Friday (TONIGHT), May 27, 2005, from 5 until 8 p.m.
A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
Relatives and friends may also call on Saturday at the funeral home from noon until 1:45 p.m.
