Joseph H. Yotty of 908 Saratoga Street, Peoria, died in the hospital in Salina, Kansas, December 29. He had been a patient there for five weeks. Funeral services were held from the Wenzler funeral home in Peoria Monday, January 2, conducted by Rev. C. C. Carpenter of Central Christian Church.
The body was brought to this city for burial in the family lot in Olio Cemetery.
Mr. Yotty, son of John and Josephine Phillips Yotty, was born near this city July 29, 1872. He was united in marriage to Miss Dicie Eastman of this city. She died several years ago. One daughter also preceded him in death. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Phoebe Kyle and Mrs. Annie Everett, both of this city, and one brother, Bert, with whom he had made his home in Peoria. He had been in the employ of the Rock Island Railroad for many years
