Mrs. John Strickler, who has been quite ill with consumption since last March, died Saturday evening at her home three miles south-east of Dixon, on the Chicago road. After a happy married life of seven years the passed away at the age of 25 years, leaving her husband and two children, Lloyd, aged four and a half years, and Hazel, aged one and a half years. The funeral was conducted by Rev. H.S. Schidt at St. James' church Monday afternoon. The interment was at the Wolf cemetery.
