Donald Adams, of Hersey, passed away at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids on Monday, November 24, 2014. He lost his battle to cancer at the age of 67.
Don was born July 14, 1947 to Harlowe and Pauline (Mullins) Adams in Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his father Harlowe. Don is survived by his wife Nancy, two daughters: Michelle Hubble and Ashley Chupp both of Hersey, MI; One son Phillip Adams and family from California; Four grandchildren Bailee, Callie, Kaiden and Ellie.
Two brothers; Danny (Cindy) Adams of Gregory, MI; Randy (Patty) Adams of Gulf Breeze, FL; Five sisters, Wanda (Dan) Klaff of Folsom, CA, Anna (Dan) Taylor of Leslie, MI, Gloria (Richard) Carnicom of St. Johns, MI, Sue (Bill) Rhines of Leslie, MI, Carol Adams also of Leslie, MI; As well as many nieces and nephews.
Don delivered the Grand Rapids Press and worked at Evart Hardware. He served in the service during the Vietnam Conflict.
Funeral services for Donald Adams are 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Corey Funeral Home, Evart, MI. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, November 28 at the Corey Funeral Home. Interment will take place at the Hersey Village Cemetery, Hersey, MI
