Charles R. (Randy) Adams passed away at his home; in Gulf Breeze, FL on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 with his loving wife Patty, his loving son Sherman, his sister Gloria and her husband Dick at his side, after a courageous 5 year battle with cancer.

Randy was born on December 26, 1956 in Salyersville KY and grew up in a loving family with 7 brothers and sisters. Randy served his country for 11 years in the United States Navy. Randy is known for his love of God, family (including his beloved Community Life United Methodist church family), his pets and the world around him. He is well and truly loved by all whose lives he touched.

Randy was predeceased by: his mother Pauline Adams, his father Harlowe Adams, and one brother Don (Nancy) Adams. Randy is survived by sisters, Wanda (Dan) Klaff; Anna (Tate) Taylor; Sue (Bill) Rhines; Gloria (Dick) Carnicom; and Carol Adams, his brother, Danny (Cindy) Adams; many nieces, nephews, and many friends. He also leaves behind his wife Patty, his son Sherman (Lizz) Adams, and his stepsons Gregory (Jennifer) and Jeffrey (Allison) Karr. His family is his proudest legacy. We will miss him all the days of our lives yet our comfort comes from knowing one day we will all be together again.

A time of visitation will be held at Rose Lawn Funeral Home in Gulf Breeze, FL on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 beginning at 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will be at 12:30 PM in Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola FL.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to: Community Life United Methodist Church, 4115 Soundside Drive, Gulf Breeze, FL 32563.
