Anton S. Neilitz, 96, of 116 Riverview Dr., Manitowoc, died Sunday afternoon at his residence. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday in Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 a.m. in St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Theodore Hendricks will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Neilitz was born May 26, 1881 in the Town of Newton, Manitowoc County, son of the late Peter and Anna Pankow Neilitz. He married Adelheid M. Wagner, June 16, 1903 in St. Isadore Catholic Church, Osman. They celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary in June, 1974. Mrs. Neilitz preceded him in death Dec. 8, 1974. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church for more than 73 years.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Roland and Ione of Manitowoc, Raymond and Dorothy of Rt. 2, Brillion and Joseph and Elinor of Appleton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Agatha and H.A. Lillington of Manitowoc and Isabella and Clayton Kramer of Rt. 2, Menasha; a sister, Mrs. Anna Schmitt of Manitowoc; 29 grandchildren, 86 great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter. Six sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call in Pfeffer Funeral Home, 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday where a Rosary service will be at 3:30 p.m. and a prayer service at 8 p.m.
