JOSEPHINE KOTOWSKI

Mrs. Josephine Kotowski, 92, formerly of 1516A Marshall St.,
Manitowoc, died Wednesday at Park Lawn Home Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral
Home and at 11 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
The Very Rev. Msgr. Alfred A. Schneider will officiate and burial
will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Kotowski, the former Josephine Neilitz, was born Dec. 13,
1875, in the Town of Newton, daughter of the late Peter and Anna
Pankau Neilitz. She was married to John Kotowski Feb. 11, 1897,
at Kenosha, and the couple farmed near Osman before locating at
Manitowoc. They operated a truck farm on S. 35th St. The couple
observed its 60th wedding anniversary in 1956. Mr. Kotowski
died Dec. 1, 1958. She was a member of St. Anne CMA Society
of St. Boniface Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Anton Scherer, of Manitowoc;
two sisters, Mrs. Anna Schmitt, of Manitowoc and Mrs. Rose Hogan,
of Moline, Ill.,; a brother, Anton Neilitz, of Manitowoc; a granddaughter,
Mrs. Wesley Rohrer, of Baraboo, Wis., and four great grandchildren.
Two sons and a daughter preceded her in death.
Frineds may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday where at
8 p.m. the Rosary wil be recited by members of the St. Anne-CMA
and Daughters of Isabella.
