Alan N. Glaser, age 76, of Manitowoc, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday afternoon, January 31, 2014, at the Hamilton Care Center, Two Rivers.

Alan was born October 4, 1937, in Two Creeks, son of the late Joseph and Eleanor (Daul) Glaser. On June 15, 1968, he married the former Marian Schultz at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Two Rivers. He was employed at Hamilton Manufacturing until his retirement. Alan enjoyed gardening, playing cards, sports and reading. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife Marian, Manitowoc; three sons and daughters-in-law: Lee and Christine Glaser, Two Rivers; Brian and Andrea Glaser, town of Kossuth, David and Cheryl Glaser, Two Rivers; seven grandchildren: Tyler, Emily, Gage, Gavin, Grace, Ethan and Luke; three sisters and one brother-in-law: Rosie LeClair; Betty and Hank Meyer, all of Two Rivers; Jean Messman, Green Bay; five brothers and four sisters-in-law: Jerry and Barbara Glaser, Clarence Glaser, Eddie and Shirley Glaser, all of Two Rivers; Larry and Marlene Glaser of Apopka, FL; Robert and Joan Glaser, Johnson Creek, WI; two sisters-in-law: Nancy Glaser, Appleton; Mildred Glaser, Manitowoc; and one brother-in-law: Norman Schultz, Two Rivers. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by one sister and brother-in-law: Gladys and Leonard Mastroni; three brothers: Joseph, Harvey and LeRoy Glaser; one sister-in-law: Beverly Glaser; two brothers-in-law: Eugene "Weiner" LeClair, and Jack Messman.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Tom Reynebeau. Entombment will follow at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until 10:15 a.m.
