PEDRO — Albert Thibodaux, 81, of Pedro died April 11, 2006, at his home. He was born in Slidell, La., the son of the late Annie Igo and Paul Thibodaux. He was the husband of Arlene Curnell Thibodaux, who survives. He was a retired oilier with the former Allie Chemical Semet Solvay Division, with over 28 years of service. He was a Catholic and attended services at Ironton City Mission and Woodland Chapel.
He also was preceded in death by his son, Albert Sidney Lee Thibodaux; and one sister, Anna Estrade Slager.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Albert Paul and Billie Thibodaux of Ironton, James Howard and Tonya Thibodaux of Hanging Rock and Henry Ray Thibodaux of Chesapeake; three daughters and sons-in-law, Alberta Lynn and David Cremeans of Ironton, Arlene "Bea" and Carl Large of Pedro and Opal Marie, 14 grandchildren.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Woodland Chapel Church, with Pastors David Schug, Leon Dalton and Hospice Chaplain Jimm Smedley officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6-9 p.m. Friday at Phillips Funeral Home.
