She was born on July 10, 1920 in Troy, New York, to the late Freeman and Alice Hemstreet Coonrad.
Marion graduated Schuylerville High School in 1937 and attended the University of Alabama.
She was an active member of the Greenfield Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking, traveling, reading, and entertaining family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Noel and second husband, Olli Durchman; son, Erik Durchman; grandson, Steve Sterrett; and brothers, Norman and Warren Coonrad.
Marion is survived by a son, two daughters, nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; also several nieces and a nephew.
