Nannie Wheless Peach was the daughter of Levi and Stacy Turner Wheless Of Pleasant Hill, Georgia. She was the second wife of John Hixon Peach. She was the mother of Eloise Peach West. Other children of John and Nannie Peach were: Irene Feagin; Susie Ernestine, unmarried; Annie Crawford Hightower; John Hill m. Bessie Roberts and Ida Eloise m. Clarence West.After Mr. Hixon's death in 1905 Mrs. Peach moved to Clayton, Alabama. She was a devout member of the Clayton Methodist Church. In church her beautiful voice gave sweetness to the songs of worship.
