Cherokee Sentinel, Sept. 30, 1898, page 2:
Died
Miss Nora Hollingsworth,
who has been ill since last spring, died Friday, Sept. 23d, at the home of her father, Ephriam Hollingsworth. She was a beautiful young lady, aged 19 years, full of life, and was the comfort of her parents and a favorite in her circle of young friends.

Her father was at work near Chicago when the telegram came to him that his daughter must die, and he hurried to her side and was with her when she passed away.

Funeral services were held in the M.E. church by the pastor, Rev. J. Windbigler, and her remains were laid to rest in the Cherokee cemetery.
*******************
Nora was probably going to turn 20 later that year. She was age 3 in the 1880 census and was 16 or 17 in the 1895 state census.
