Mrs. AMY R. DORR
Mrs. Amy R. Dorr, 65, who had resided in Dorset most of her life, died this morning at the Bennington Convalescent Center following a lingering illness.
The daughter of William and Elizabeth (Belden) Rubadeau, she was born in Dorset Nov 9, 1907 and had attended Dorset schools. She had lived in Dorset until moving to Shaftsbury in October 1971 to reside with her daughter, Mrs. Harold (Janet) Snow. She became a resident of the convalescent center about a month ago.
Survivors besides her daughter are a brother, George Rubadeau of South Dorset; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Friday at 2 pm at Brewster Funeral Home in Manchester Center. Burial will be in Factory Point Cemetery, Manchester Center.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 9 pm.
