He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Earlene Gilliland; 4 daughters, Mrs. B.C. Andrews of Waldwick, N.J.; Mrs. R.O. Nord of Haskel, N.J.; Mrs. Thomas Wayne Hicks of McGuire Air Force Base, N.J., and Mrs. Johnny Johnson, Fort Campbell, Ky.; 8 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Grover Gilliland of Birmingham and Oliver Earl Gilliland of New Orleans, La.
Funeral services will be held Friday, 2 p.m. at Roebuck Chapel, the Rev. James Cantrell and the Rev. J.C. Wallace officiating, interment Jefferson Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions be made to the heart fund. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Thursday. Honorary pallbearers will be the past masters of Pinson, Village Springs and Center Point Masonic Lodges and the Pressmen and Assistants Union Local No. 121. Rid-out's Brown Service, Roebuck Chapel directing.

Retired Printer's Rites Tomorrow
Funeral services for Elver Gilliland, 58, of Palmerdale, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Roebuck Chapel, with burial in the Masonic area of Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Gilliland had been in retirement for five years because of a heart condition. He had been a long-time commercial printer here.
Mr. Gilliland was past master of the Masonic Lodge at Mt. Pinson and past worthy Patron of the Eastern Star there. He was a member of the printers union.
He is survived by his wife; four daughters, Mrs. B.C. Andrews and Mr. R.O. Nord, both of New Jersey; Mrs. John E. Johnson of Ft. Campbell, Ky., and Mrs. Thomas Wayne Hicks of McGuire Air Force Base, N.J., and two brothers, Grover Gilliland of Birmingham and Oliver Earl Gilliland of New Orleans.
