Gaynelle Seagraves Wansley, 95, of 183 Catawba Ave., died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2002.
A native of Clarke County, Mrs. Wansley was a daughter of the late Harvey Lee ''Bob'' Seagraves and Julia Suddeth Seagraves and was the widow of Russell Edward Wansley. She was a homemaker and was a member of Order of Eastern Star, Athens Business Girls Club and the First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Judd B. Farr Sr.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, East, with Dr. Bill Ross officiating. Burial will be in Oconee Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Julia Farr Holtzworth, Jupiter, Fla.; a son, Judd B. Farr, Greenville, S.C.; two sisters, Rebecca Baugh, Athens, and Barbara Carter, Alabama; two brothers, David Seagraves, Alabama, and Donald Seagraves, Colbert; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Vista Care Hospice, 700 Oglethorpe Ave., Athens, GA 30606.
