Arnold Simon,75, of R. 1, Malone, was dead on arrival at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac, last Thursday morning after suffering an apparent heart attack at his home.
Born Oct. 1, 1900, at Mt. Calvary, a son of Steve and Caroline Braun Simon, he married Loretta Feldner, Nov. 26, 1928 at St. Cloud. After marriage they farmed in rural Mt. Calvary.
Mr. Simon was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mt. Calvary, its St. Anthony Society and the Mt. Calvary Area Senior Citizens Center.

Mr. Simon was preceded in death by a son, brother and two grandchildren.
There was a funeral Mass Saturday at Holy Cross Church, with the Rev. Ruppert Dorn, pastor the main celebrant of the concelebrated Mass. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
