Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Friday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home,
Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, the Rev. Clement
Kern officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Nuhs, the former Elizabeth Simmer, was born Nov. 1, 1883, in the
Town of Manitowoc Rapids, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John
Simmer. She was married to John Nuhs April 27, 1904. They celebrated
their golden wedding anniversary a year ago. She was a member of the
Christian Mothers Society of St. Paul Church.
Survivors include the husband, two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Schuler of
Milwaukee and Mrs. Warren Bernard of Manitowoc, three sons, Lester
and William of Manitowoc and John Jr. of Manitowoc Rapids, and six
grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Thursday where the
Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday.
